Nice, soft and comfortable.

These wide legs pants are 100% organic cotton, free of spandex/Lycra. They run a bit large, seems going one size smaller in these works well. The waist is high which creates an elongating effect, which balances out the wideness of the legs...nice. The color taupe is more of a tan color; it is a somewhat neutral tan...leaning more towards a peachy/pink undertone than a yellowy green undertone. The color is not washed out or pale, but is not dark either...it's in between. The inseam is on the long side, but comes up some with a dryer set on high heat. The fabric seems a bit thicker than the fabric the Cottonique "Women's Drawstring Pants" are made from. Its very soft and comfortable.

has elastic band that I cannot remove

Honestly, I have been meaning to write but have been on the road the last few weeks. I am so dissappointed. I understood the pants to have a draw string and they have elastic that I do not think I can remove without destroying the material.

Wide leg extra small best of the 3 styles of pants. The small in the other two style huge and I have to cut the bottoms and still heavy to keep up in the waist. I’m grateful for all cotton in anything but these pants are the best ones. I’m 5’2 100 pounds.
